Busy, Busy, Busy

I wish I could do this right now (have a million arms). I wish I could leave my arms at the table painting an order, send my head to the couch to watch my favorite shows, and send my legs out for a run. haha. OR- wouldn't it be great to be a vampire like Edward and not have to sleep?!

Before we graduated, Scott and I were so excited about all of the “free time” we would soon enjoy... I don’t know what we were thinking! Since we've merged into life in the real world our free time has pretty much disappeared. The reason I haven’t posted in such a long time is because we’ve just been SO BUSY! And we don’t even have kids yet! :) Since we’ve moved to Houston I’ve had lots of artwork orders and lots of modeling jobs- which is good but makes for a hectic schedule when I have a full-time job to top it off. Scott’s been putting in lots of hours at the office like we knew he would at the start of his career and then comes home to lots of household projects. When you add working out, our church callings, and socializing to the mix it can be overwhelming trying to get everything done. We’re excited to be home owners but it definitely is more time consuming than living in an apartment... especially now that the grass (and weeds) are growing.

We have been doing some fun things too though- like going to the Rodeo 3 times (two times it was work-related) and seeing Alice in Wonderland in 3D... posts to come soon! I’ve been a major blog slacker and have lots of catching up to do on everyone else’s blogs too. Hope you’ve all been well and are enjoying Spring. :)
