Quick Trip

Last weekend Scott and I went on a quick little trip to Dallas. We FINALLY went to Sprinkles and got these:

We stayed with our friends Peter and Emily Andrew. Scott worked with Peter in the Dallas office and Emily took my position with the family I worked for when we moved. We went to the movies, out to eat, shopping, and just hung out.

On Saturday morning we found that someone had broken into our car through the front passenger window to steal our GPS- and that was a bummer :( Luckily, Peter knew how to change out windows so we only had to pay for the new glass. We should have learned our lesson when by brother Mack and his wife Cheryl had the same thing happen to them when they were in town for Christmas. The moral of the story: NEVER leave your GPS in the car! Even though they are pretty cheap now, apparently people still break into cars for them.

It was sooo fun to get away for a little weekend- it was a much needed trip! Thanks again for having us Andrews- you were great hosts and we had an awesome time!
