Winston & Samantha Miller

The newest members of the Miller household:

Winston & Samantha

My grandparents had a stray mom cat and her kittens in their yard that they've been feeding. All of the kittens are SO cute! My grandpa caught all of the kittens except for Samantha and they warmed up to people really quickly. Then on Thanksgiving morning he captured Miss Samantha too. My grandparents had been watching the kitties while they were living outside, and Samantha and Winston were buddies- so I'm sure they were happy to be reunited. Don't feel bad for the mama cat; my grandparents are adopting her.

There were also two gray kitties that are SO CUTE ... they are little buddies too:

And a little black and white girl, also SUPER cute! My parents took her.

Winston is the runt of the litter and is really mellow. He isn't as playful as the others, but does play around with Samantha. He's a major sweetheart and just started purring yesterday morning. Now he purrs every time you touch him ... even if you're just picking him up to move him really quickly. He likes to sleep in the litter-box which Scott and I think is so gross. We're trying to break him of that habit! He's a little explorer and wanders around the house checking everything out. Samantha follows him around and it's pretty cute :).

Samantha has only been away from her mom for a day and half and is still getting used to people. She still hisses almost every time we walk up to her. She thinks she looks scary, but is really more cute than fierce. She purred for the first time yesterday too, but has only done it twice. When she knows we're watching her, she does the army crawl thinking we won't notice her. The first night we brought her home she just walked around the house crying ... it was so sad! Finally she let Scott hold her and fell asleep on his lap. She's been doing a lot better and has already improved so much! She LOVES to cuddle once she warms up to you, and is constantly finding Winston to cuddle with him too. We can't wait for her to fully adjust so we can see more of her sweet personality.

My grandparents decided the gray pair and white pair couldn't be broken up- and for good reasons. They are best buddies and do everything together- especially sleeping. It's adorable!

Aren't they cute??
