Finally!

I had been DYING to feel the baby move and was asking everyone I know who has had a baby when they felt their first baby flutters. During weeks 16 & 17 I felt what I thought might be baby- but wasn't really sure. Then FINALLY on Halloween, when I was driving I felt some definite movement! I was so excited I started crying! :) Scott didn't think it was fair that I was hogging all the baby-feeling. But then, later that weekend, Scott and I were at a movie when the baby started moving like crazy and Scott was able to feel him too! He didn't move hard enough again for someone on the outside to feel until this morning. Now (at 19.5 weeks) his movements are strong enough that I feel him moving around all day long and I love it!

I started taking pictures every week just for us to look back on, but decided to post them. We haven't taken week 19 yet but I feel like the belly has grown a lot since last week.


Other pregnancy news: I finally broke down and bought some maternity jeans. They came last night, I've had them on all day, and they are so comfortable I could sleep in them too. I got the Gap "Always Skinny Jeans" with a full panel (right now certain washes are on sale from $79 to $29-$34). I couldn't bring myself to pay 80 bucks for jeans I'll only wear temporarily before, but after seeing how well they fit and how comfortable they are it seems sort of worth it now ;).

Our 20 week anatomy scan is next Monday and we will see if the placenta moved so life can go back to normal. Keep your fingers crossed!
