Light & Bright Baby Shower

A couple of weeks ago our lucky little guy had quite the shower. So many people helped out and I appreciate all of the time and energy everyone put into our day! My mom did most of the decorations and I LOVED it all- thanks mom! I couldn't have imagined a more perfect shower and all of the support from our friends and family meant so much! Maternity Shoot for Francesca's

I couple of weeks ago (at 32 weeks) I was booked for Francesca's again! It was so fun to see all of the familiar faces there. None of the clothes are actually made to be maternity, they're just regular pieces in bigger sizes, so you can continue to wear them after ... a concept I love!

uuggghhh

The last few days I've been SO uncomfortable! My ribs ache all day and all night no matter what I do (unless I'm in the bath). If I try to ignore it, the ache turns into a sharp pain. So then I try laying down, which makes my back hurt really bad. So then I try walking, which makes my hips and a different part of my back hurt. The only thing that feels good (other than the bath) is laying flat on my back, which I can only do for about 10 minutes before all of my insides start to cramp because they are being totally squished. How did all of you moms out there do this? I can only stay in one position for 5 minutes! Only 40 days left though and I know he'll be worth it :). Thanks for letting me vent.

Maternity Pictures

I wasn't sure if I wanted to take any maternity shots or not, and now I'm so glad I did! I'm lucky enough to have a sister (Marci) who could do them for me so the shoot wasn't a big deal. I'm so happy with how they turned out and that I documented my belly. Now I have nothing to regret :). Thank you Marci- you're so talented! Here is a link to her photography website- check it out!
